Flip Sprout is made for kids, so it asks for nothing and collects as little as it can.

What we collect
No personal information. There are no accounts, names, email addresses or sign-ins. There is no chat and nowhere for a child to type anything in. The game has no links that lead off the site. The one outside link is the Miles Media credit at the bottom of the home page and the pages for grown-ups.
What stays on this device
Stars for finished packs and the settings are saved in this browser's local storage, so a child can pick up where they left off. They never leave the device, and they do not follow your child to another device or browser.
If you install Flip Sprout to a home screen, or open a pack once, the browser keeps a copy of the pages, pictures and sounds so the game works without an internet connection. That copy is the game itself, not anything about your child.
How to clear it
Use Reset progress on the grown-ups page. To remove everything, including the offline copy, clear this site's data in your browser's settings.
Visit counting
We use two tools to count visits, so we can see which pages and games get used and fix what doesn't work. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies. Google Analytics counts visits and pages using a cookie that holds a random number, plus the rough location (country and city) and the kind of device and browser. Neither one gets a name, email address or anything a child types, because there is nothing to type. We turned off Google signals and ad personalization, so Google Analytics data is not used for advertising or linked to Google accounts, and Google keeps it for two months. To block both, use your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker; the game works the same either way.
There are no ads, and no fonts or pictures loaded from other companies. The words on the cards use Arial or the closest font already built into your device. Every other font, picture and sound comes from this site, and the site's security settings stop anything else from loading except the two counting tools above.
