Flip Sprout

Terms of use

Flip Sprout is free to use. These are the few terms that come with it.

Using Flip Sprout

Flip Sprout is a free educational website where young children practice kindergarten sight words. It is meant to be used with a parent, teacher or other grown-up nearby. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. Progress is saved only in your browser, as the privacy page explains.

The content is provided as is

We work to keep the words, pictures and sounds accurate and right for young children. Even so, Flip Sprout is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We cannot promise the site will always be available, free of mistakes or a good fit for every child. As far as the law allows, Miles Media is not responsible for any loss that comes from using it.

Who owns what

The Dolch sight word lists are in the public domain. The pictures, font and other pieces made by others are used under their own licenses, listed in the credits on the privacy page.

Miles Media owns the site, Pip, the logo, and the original art and audio made for Flip Sprout. You are welcome to use the site at home and in the classroom and to print the word lists from the grown-ups page. Please do not copy the site, its art or its audio to use somewhere else.
